Welcome to East Georgia State College’s 双录取 Program!

双录取 enables current high-school students to take college-level courses at East Georgia, often at little or no cost. 双录取 is available at all three sites, the main campus in Swainsboro, the Statesboro site, and the Augusta site.

为什么要双录取?

While participating in dual enrollment, students have the opportunity to prepare for college by exploring majors of interest. Dual enrollment students do not have a declared major while participating in the program but have the opportunity to gain a strong understanding of what their future majors will require through conversations with their 顾问 and faculty.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the dual enrollment program you must:

1. 1. Attend a private or public secondary educational institution within the State of Georgia or a home study program operated pursuant to §O.C.G.A. 20-2-690 that has been approved by the Georgia Student Finance Commission as a dual enrollment participating school. Ask your guidance counselor to be sure your school is approved to participate.
   2. Have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher (as calculated by the Office of 招生)
   3. Be on track to complete the Required High School Curriculum, as defined by the University System of Georgia.
      • 4 English Credits
      • 4数学学分
      • 4 Science Credits
      • 3 Social Science Credits
      • 2 Foreign Language Credits (Same Language)
   4. Be a high school junior or senior or at least 16 years of age by the time of enrollment. Students wishing to participate in dual enrollment prior to their junior year or age 16 may appeal; however, this does not mean they will get 双录取 Scholarship 资金. 请参阅 GAFutures 双录取 Eligibility website for more information.
   5. 完成 GAfutures 双录取 Scholarship Application with your parent/guardian and high school counselor. This form must be completed and submitted prior to being advised by your 双录取 顾问.
   6. Submit the online EGSC application for admission.
      • Select dual enrollment as the student type

There are minimum requirements for students to participate in certain courses. Please review this document for specific details.
